Garlic is a great remedy for yeast infections – bakers know not to add it to garlic bread while the dough is rising, as it will kill the yeast and ruin the bread. The vegetable is added to the dough right before baking, when the yeast has completed its function.

For bacterial infections, garlic should be used raw. Here’s how to use garlic against vaginal yeast infections:
Break a garlic clove first, then peel it off and cut it in half. Sew a string through it so you can easily remove it later. Next, insert the clove in your vagina before going to bed and go to sleep.
