Detox-bath is one of the easiest healing therapies which detoxifies the body from toxins. Our bodies are prone to more toxins than ever nowadays. They are present in the air, food, medications, and water. As they can cause irritation, and harm the body they are harmful for our well being.
Detoxification is a method for removal and metabolism of toxins and other dangerous compounds. In fact, without us even knowing it this is a natural process in the body which takes place. Nonetheless, the capacity of the body for detoxification is not endless.

Preparation of the bath:
To 2 cups of Epsom salt add 5 to 10 drops of essential oil of your choosing and then add this mixture to a tub full of water. Add 1 cup of baking soda to neutralize chemicals, primarily chlorine if your bath water isn’t filtered, and to increase the absorption of minerals.
Then, immerse yourself in the water and close your eyes. Do some breathing exercise and soak for 20 minutes. Then, you can get out of the tub and shower with cool water. As they will enter your bloodstream through your open pores don’t use harsh soaps or shampoos.
Apply body butter, like shea butter or coconut oil and aluminum-free deodorant once your body is dried. Avoid lotions with perfumes, chemicals, and dyes. Also, don’t eat immediately after a detox-bath, but drink filtered water before and after. Rest after the bath.
